The very last UQ project meeting took place between the 29th of November and the 1st of December.
The first UQ project meeting of the year took place between the 23rd and the 25th of May.
The second UQ project meeting of the year took place between the 7th and the 11th of November. It also included a PhD Sprint!
Tamadur Albaraghtheh, a PhD student at hereon, presented the status of her work at EUROMAT21 in a talk entitled "Uncertainty Quantification of Computational Models for Magnesium Implant Degradation".
Prof. Dr. Sebastian Krumscheid has taken up a position as professor for uncertainty quantification at KIT.

An initial analysis of researchers from the UQ consortium with colleagues examines the impacts of the Ukraine war on european energy supply.
The temporarily more relaxed pandemic situation allowed us to hold the second in-presence meeting. Of course in 2G and according to all rules.
PhD students wrote, sorted and reviewed the case study articles for the dictionary. These articles present each case study within the project and highlight the role of UQ in each application.

February brought us back together to start working on the UQ dictionary. Lots of ideas, lots of questions, lots of entries, and lots of discussion. Stay tuned for the upcoming dictionary.
At the end of an unusual and, for many, very demanding year 2020, the UQ team meets again to strengthen cooperation and work together on the goals of the UQ project.
The first week of June 2020 we gathered to build the website. Lots of push, pull, commit, merge, branch, and all the good stuff git has to offer.
On April 27 and 28, 2020 the UQ team met online to discuss the next steps in our collaboration.
On December 2 and 3, 2019 the Kickoff Meeting for Helmholtz Uncertainty Quantification will take place in Bielefeld.
